Powerful Rituals with Tony Robbins and the Richest Man in Babylon

mountain-road-1556177_640

Life has been splendid and I am very excited to post here today because I have a special message to share!

That’s right, I want to shed some light on our rituals.

“Rituals define us. All the results in our life come from a standard. And then we follow the standard up with rituals.”
– Tony Robbins

I’ve learned from Tony Robbins and also my experiences that our lives are determined by our rituals.

For areas of life including health, family, and work – we all have rituals that empower or dis-empower us.

We create these rituals through our beliefs (or standards) and repeat these rituals until they are reinforced by daily habits.

What is important here is understanding that the daily rituals you have may or may not be leading you to the goal you desire.

If you are consciously aware of this, you have the ability to change your rituals. However if you are just going with the flow of life and letting your subconscious mind run itself then you will be unable to tap into your rituals and modify them to gradually eliminate the dis-empowering aspects.

I have been studying one of my favorite books which is The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason originally published in 1926.

The book contains several parables and lessons for building wealth and financial prosperity with wisdom and action. This is my 4th time listening to the audio book, it is available for FREE on YouTube (at the time of this post and I strongly recommend this book).

3 of the rules I have been focusing on the most in the last week have been:

1. Pay myself first. A part of all I earn is mine to keep.

10% of what I earn is saved automatically

2. Tracking my earnings and expenses in a wallet app

3. Controlling my spending so that I am not spending more than 70% of my earned income

I must admit that it takes some effort at first to readjust my mindset and incorporate these better financial rituals but I believe practice will make me better.

Consistency is key from here on out, I will continue to study the characteristics of earning money and growing wealth because these elements of life I do desire.

I would like to nudge you towards finding a book you can apply and stick with. Also commit to studying that book, really understanding the content and harnessing the power of that knowledge by taking MASSIVE action.

It is an incredible experience. I love books and I hope you love them too!

P.S. I have just started an Instagram account which can be found by clicking here so please check it out. I would love to interact with you on that platform too. Thank you so much for reading, have an exciting and adventurous day!

How to Level Up with these 2 Sensational Ideas

seascape-1641999_640

“GO the extra mile, there’s no one on it”
– Grant Cardone

Howdy friend!

I’m excited to see you.

Welcome to my blog, today I want to share two short and game-changing ideas which have improved my mindset and my results.  I will share these ideas with you because I believe they can have the ability to improve your quality of life and your results.

For the last two weeks, I’ve been working as a front desk clerk at a wonderful hotel and I’ve been applying these two powerful ideas. Without further hesitation, let me introduce the first idea which is:

Living Life as an Experiment

I am currently involved in a book study course led by my one of my mentors, Tina Marie St. Cyr, and she presented the idea of Treating Life as an Experiment.

The course is 10 weeks long so she introduced this idea by having her students agree to leaving doubt, worry, stress, fear, anxiety, etc. behind for the duration of the course.

I decided to leave expectations behind as well. As a result, I find myself disappointed less often because life is always a surprise in the way that things unravel.

Tina Marie concluded the idea by communicating that whatever works, keep it. And if it doesn’t work out in your experiment, then remove those elements and try again with new thoughts and plans.

I encourage you to try this idea out.  Pick a period of time, perhaps the next few days or week to live your life like an experiment. Leave the fear, worry, self-doubt, wanting to be normal, hesitation all behind and step into a limitless, courageous, and open-minded experiment.

Once you possess that mindset to experiment and create, you can become obsessed which is the second idea I want to present in this post:

Granting Yourself Permission to be Obsessed

I must introduce you to a new mentor of mine, Mr. Grant Cardone.  He is a motivational speaker and also an author. Here is a small video that he has produced which I watch almost on a daily basis to elevate my mindset to do an outstanding job at work.

Grant’s dedication is infectious and this idea of giving yourself permission to be obsessed has radically changed the way I learn on and off of my job. I want to learn everything, I am really not holding back.

Every day is another chance for me to develop my burning obsessions in life.

But enough about me, are you open to any of these ideas?

I know they aren’t simple and elegant however they have proven to be effective mindset hacks for me to get desirable results. Anyhow,

Please comment on what you are obsessed about! 🙂

Let’s Discover A New Frontier with Our Friend Napoleon Hill

ship-1578528_640

Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
– Napoleon Hill

Simple, piece of cake, right?

I’m here to see!

For the last 5 weeks, I have embarked on a journey of studying Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

In conjunction, I have been consciously keeping my mindset above negative waves and constantly reinforcing my experience with empowering thoughts and emotions.

I know I can further improve on sharing my enthusiasm and energy with my family, friends, and coworkers.

At the moment, I receive good feedback about my energy, humor, and enthusiasm but I know I can be much better!

I am focused on becoming more influential and more successful in blogging and investing so I truly enjoy the quote below:

Success comes to those who become SUCCESS CONSCIOUS.
– Napoleon Hill

The success conscious mindset empowers me to the level where I feel like a super hero!

In my belief, this is the ultimate positive mindset where we have the ability to feel all the human emotions however we consciously choose to resonate on the positive thoughts and emotions.

We win over negative and dis-empowering thoughts and emotions by removing focus and attention away from them and transferring that focus towards our small wins or good things currently happening in our life.

If you’re reading this, then I assume you have access to the Internet and some computing device that you can use to learn from – which would further lead me to believe that you have many other things to be grateful for. Rapidly remind yourself of these things – whether they be relationships, accomplishments, objects, etc. when the negative thoughts attempt to invade your mind.

In essence, the main idea of this message is that the mind is our new frontier.  The mind is the environment where we can abolish our fears and pursue our destinies with ferociousness and rigid persistence.

The mind is a beautiful and powerful garden that will grow whatever seeds you plant.

With that being said, I would like to ask you to maintain positive thoughts this week, stay in high energy and awareness above the negative ideas that enter your mind and are transmitted by others.

Also be aware that you will be challenged throughout the week but make it your mission to take life day-by-day and celebrate the small wins and the good things that are currently going on in your life!

How Iced Coffee Became A Courageous Conversation

cappuccino-1609921_640

“Motivation doesn’t create action, action creates motivation.”
– Phuong H. Nguyen

What a sensational day it has been! I am excited to be alive and grateful that you could stop by for a quick read.

Today, I met some outstanding people at Beans – my favorite coffee house!

I must admit, I was overhearing their conversation and I bursted into laughter at a witty remark made.

Suddenly, we all began laughing and I introduced myself by asking what their names were first.

They were a cozy couple – the man was named Chris and the woman was named Gina.  I could feel their warm souls and positive energy; for a little more than an hour, we shared our life experiences briefly while they sipped wine and I sipped my iced coffee.

As the conversation became deeper, I began taking copious notes as they brought more perspective to my vision.  We were able to achieve that depth because:

I built rapport quickly, laughing with them, modeling their body language, and listening to listen rather than listening to reply. These communication skills have served me so well in the past few months and I truly believe, YOUR COMMUNICATION SKILLS MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

They reminded me of how powerful philanthropy was and that I did not have to travel the world or do something grand to help someone in need – I could search in my own city, in fact in my own community to start making a significant positive impact.

Of course, they asked about my age.  I truthfully told them I was 21 (and will be 22 in 9 days) and they were astounded!  They both agreed I had plenty of room to grow and ample opportunity to give my time, money, and energy to worthwhile causes.

The conversation mostly revolved around this life-contemplating question:

What are you passionate about?

I struggled to give a definite answer although I obviously brought up money.  And then Gina reminded me of something profound.

She said with a genuine glimmer in her eyes that I could feel in my heart: money is just an instrument to help and serve others and it is not the end goal.

I really resonated with this encounter and walked away with a bucket full of wisdom. Perhaps the greatest piece of knowledge I took away from this conversation was that ACTION is necessary – even if its not the perfect action because it can be corrected along course.

In conclusion, action is the key to getting the results you desire from life!

Figuratively, I find myself shivering at how grace can arrange new chances for me to meet others who may share a message or experience with me that has the ability to change my perspective and course of action.

Life is full of possibilities and I want to politely remind you to laugh and enjoy it. Remain open minded to opportunities which may present themselves in unique and unexpected ways!

We must be ready to act! From this action we will gather motivation and momentum to continue along course or discover something else we are truly passionate about. I hope you can take something from this post – have a wonderful day!

1 Essential Lesson to Quickly and Deeply Connect with Others

group-1040080_640

We are each unique in many profound ways and yet we are very similar to one another.

As humans, we are wired to connect and there is an innate driving force for us to be alike.

This is the premise of a remarkable lesson I learned from Tony Robbins – how to model other people.

Putting this lesson into action has lead to today – a very Merry Monday for me!

I participated in a speech contest and won first place in Table Topics. I laughed and enjoyed my life. I connected with others and shared in their experiences.

But how did I get so comfortable?

I did not possess these communication skills three months ago.

I learned something. I put it into action. I gathered feedback. I improved my process consistently…

And here I am today, repeating the behavior almost on a subconscious level.

Naturally, I try to remain in a positive and high energy state which I use to boost my friends, family, and coworkers.

I have developed my listening skills, I talk about what others want to talk about, and I treat others how they want to be treated.

Through modeling their behavior (body language, hand gestures, eye contact, vocal variety, energy, mood, etc.) I have become someone who can truly get along with anyone.

With this ability to connect in a snap, I can have a great time being just like someone.

Of course, I’m not so obvious about copying their movements or tone rather I am matching them on their level.

This is the gem for today. When you are meeting someone new, or talk to someone you know already – match them on their level.

This works no matter if you’re twenty or fifty. It works for students, professionals, and even intimate relationships.

Just try it out! Model someone with no intent to manipulate them, but rather to improve your communication and your connection with them.

That is all! I sincerely appreciate you for reading my blog. I use your feedback to create the model for my content so please comment on how you connect with others.

Have a super day!

The Secret Importance of Balance in Our Lives

beach-677124_640

Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.
– Thomas Merton

My mom is always asking me, when are you going to go on vacation?

My response is usually, when I figure it all out.  She knows I am an ambitious soul.  She knows I will commit myself until I succeed.

However when I discover something that piques my interest, I wholeheartedly pour my life into that area.  As my best friend Paul said, I don’t just go part time or full time.  I dedicate ALL TIME to my interest(s).

The benefits are immense.  I learn at a rapid pace, become very immersed quickly,  and in a few weeks or months I am clearly displaying understanding and proficiency in the interest.  But something always happens.

I achieve a certain level of success.  Or maybe a certain failure emerges.  Or maybe my perspective changes but the common result is that I finally blow out.

At this point, the imbalance of work and actually living and enjoying my life has become a point of shut down.  I am hesitant to do the work I know I love.

It is a real challenge for me.  I had to decide to take a break from blogging to regain clarity and focus for my life.

Today, I’m back and I’m better!  The purpose of this post was simply to remind you to balance your work, family, and personal life.  When these areas are in harmony, and you are growing in each area without spending too much time and effort in just one – you can experience a profound amount of joy and fulfillment.

Appreciate the process.  Appreciate the moment that is now.

Have a wonderful day!

Discovering Your Next BIG Book with Napoleon Hill!

read-369040_640

What’s up!  How are you doing today?

Great – the grind is on, and it is another Workable Wednesday. I had a moment yesterday, I was thinking about how far I have grown to get to this point in my life.

I thought about the many steps forward I have taken on my journey since the first book I read seriously.

Where would my life be if I would have never discovered that first profound book?

I would be in a desolate and hopeless place. I am grateful for the light I have now, the light I can share with you through this blog.

The first book that sparked my flame was an audio copy of The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson. I found it on YouTube so I am very grateful for that experience.

The funny thing is – I actually thought I knew a fair amount about the world and understood life on a deep level however this first book opened my mind to what I truly did not know.

Soon I began to ponder the possibilities in life, I began to ask and answer open ended questions such as:

Where do you want to go in life?

Where do you want to grow in life?

This could be physical, mental, spiritual, etc.

I also discovered the powerful question:

Who is successful that has what you want already?

As a result of this first profound book, I was awakened to take immediate action, I started using a journal, and I have also found thought mentors who I am currently modeling to obtain similar results.

Books are Portals to Another World

Great books offer a unique perspective and they invite the reader to deeply immerse themselves into the stories and message.

On this blog and in life I am primarily a nonfiction consumer, so I am talking about nonfiction books in this post.

When you grab a great lesson book, it will allow you to focus your energy on winning more in life.

Books are magnificent! This world of knowledge is waiting for you to discover and use it.

Humans Live Within These Pages

I am mostly interested in books that are well acclaimed and acknowledged as valuable to the people I look up to.

My diet of books usually has stories that allude to lessons in life. These books educate the reader on how to achieve certain desired outcomes (and also how to avoid undesired outcomes).

I am happy and very grateful to discover the vast variety of experiences and wisdom in the 50+ books I have read in the last year.

Remember, you only need ONE book to ignite your amazing journey or to revitalize the one you are now.

Books can bring more light into your life because nonfiction often shares how other humans have received enlightenment.

Rapid Reading, Learning, Applying, and Resulting

The more you read, the more you know.

The more you know, the more you can learn.

The more you can learn, the more you can apply the lessons to change your life for the better.

I have significantly increased my reading speed since my first few books and now I have a process for reviewing books and applying the notes to my life.

For the first time I am utilizing a study group to learn and use the knowledge to get what I truly want out of life.

I am a strong believer that the right books can change your life in a significantly empowering manner. With that being said, please join me in selecting and reading your book!

My current book is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

If you are having trouble selecting your book, I would like to suggest that you find someone in this world you want to be like. Then, identify which books they have read which have impacted their development in life.

Pick one of those books and buy it! It is totally worth a better and more enlightened future for you. I would like to know what your next big book is in the comments. That is all, have a fantastic day!

Fearless Friday with Tina Marie – Golden Pointers to Be Your Best Self

man-1030859_640

How awesome, you are finally here!

Today will be incredible because I will share a few secrets on how to extinguish self doubt.

Have you ever experienced self doubt at some point in your life?

If yes, this post will highlight 3 key concepts I use, and you can use them as well to empower your inner self and demolish that doubt!

I learned these ideas in Abolish Your Inner Saboteur which was my first personal development event. I want to thank Tina Marie for helping me gain momentum and introducing me to the superb ideas below:

The Stories We Tell Ourselves

Often times we lie to ourselves about who we are or what we are capable of.

We create these stories and reinforce them on a subconscious and then a conscious level.

An example of 2 limiting stories I have told myself in the past are:

I cannot possibly figure out how to build an audience online. (and)

I cannot possibly discover how to add massive and immediate value to that audience.

We make up these empowering or limiting stories and they define our actions. If I believed those limiting stories, I would have quit blogging a while ago.

But since I have slayed these weak stories (filled with self doubt), I now blog even more ferociously than before.

I am absolutely determined to figure this out, but in order to get to that point I had to redefine myself by creating new empowering stories. More of this work is also taught by Tony Robbins, but Tina Marie introduced the powerful concept of the saboteur.

Your Sneaky Little Saboteur

Sometimes, you will hear a voice creeping in:

That’s not really possible…

You can’t do that, only _____ can do that…

Sometimes, it may actually sound like you – but it’s not!

This limiting voice is your saboteur and it is very sneaky as it will try to disguise itself – but it’s mission is uniform, to ruin the true desires of your inner self.

The saboteur will remind you of how comfortable and secure life can be if you don’t reach to be more than you are now.

The saboteur is not the real you but rather a part of you that is trying to play small.

I believe it helps to listen to this voice because sometimes it has a genuine concern but I do not follow it.

This limiting voice has tried to stop my productivity, has highlighted why things aren’t possible and honestly, I’m sick of it!

No more will I listen to those weak stories, I have embraced my inner CEO.

Dialing Up Your CEO

Deep within you, there is a powerful CEO, a Warrior, or a Champion.

This hero is always available to you however you have to know how to harness the power of that part of yourself.

When a limiting thought arises, challenge that belief. It is likely that your saboteur is attempting to tame you from getting the full taste of life.

When a limiting thought arises, feel the weight of that thought holding you back from the life you truly desire.

Resonate with the reality of your life if you do not not take action.  Resonate with the reality of you holding back and listening to the limiting voice.

Is this what you want for your life?

If no, stand strong and in a dominant and assertive manner. Do this exercise now:

Yell NO! NO! I will no longer allow you (the saboteur) to hold me back from what is rightfully mine in my life!

Yell it again and again with absolute certainty until you believe it!

Then, proceed in life with absolute confidence – knowing you can tap into your supply of unlimited power any time you want when you are operating life as the CEO, Warrior, or Champion.

That’s the gist of this message which revolves around psychology and I will be sharing more wisdom next week on ways to alter our physiology.  It is now your time to claim your success and diminish your doubt!

When the limiting thoughts arise, acknowledge them but do not accept them.  Remember that the saboteur is false and is not your true self.

You have a choice to accept those limiting stories or to create a stack of empowering beliefs to act upon to create the life you truly desire.

I would like for you to comment on a limiting story you have told yourself in the past and why you can no longer accept this weak story anymore.

Let’s Blast Off with Napoleon Hill Think and Grow Rich

traveller-1149973_640

Welcome to another Fearless Friday! I am glad you can join me today because I have been celebrating throughout this week by going for gold and saying yes to my universe.

Yesterday, I caught some waves on a boat and I also went swimming with some friends and it was a blast!

Today, I am grateful to be alive and I am also very grateful for my family, my true friends, this blog, and you for reading.

Blogging has evolved into a passion for me. When I post, I feel myself moving towards my compelling future which I have heavily associated with pleasure, happiness, and fulfillment.

It is my goal to contribute actionable wisdom on this blog so I want to share this short and sweet video of one of my favorite and most influential mentors, Zig Ziglar.

I live in the States and we are 3 days away from Independence Day. In early celebration, Zig delivers his presentation in front of the beautiful stars and stripes.

Zig’s message is simple: to be successful you have to truly practice and prepare.

But I’m going to take it a step further. Those who prepare to be successful in an outstanding manner receive outstanding results.

Those who prepare for success in a decent and okay manner receive decent and okay results.

Those who prepare for success in a weak and lazy manner receive…

I think we both understand what the outcome is likely to be. Keep in mind that preparation will require discipline and also that preparation will lead to stressful times so this stress will need to be managed properly.

Manage Your Stress or Stress Will Manage You

Together, we can place more emphasis on playing and enjoying life because it is not 100% serious all the time.

I am a strong believer in scheduling my work and family time but most importantly, scheduling my play and relax time. Sticking to the calendar has been a best practice for me and I hope you are on this level too.

If not, that is perfectly fine. Continue to do what works for you.

But if you are interested, I use a simple Google calendar, the stop watch on my phone, and EverNote as my time productivity tool stack.

Here’s a hot tip: The way you breathe is ultra powerful. Transform any emerging stress into calming serenity by taking long and deep breaths.

When you clear your mind, loosen your body, and focus on your breathing – you can silence stress and re-position yourself towards success.

These are some of the ideas I use, along with listening to music and traveling abroad to manage my stress and stay connected to the abundant life.

Winners Prepare for Success

“You were born to win, but to be a winner you must plan to win,
prepare to win, and expect to win.” – Zig Ziglar

Winners study hard and are meticulous in their preparation. They practice how they perform or even better.

Winners condition themselves for top level success and since we were born to win, we must condition ourselves at a peak level.

The singers, athletes, actors, and other professionals we look up to have practiced and prepared with focus and commitment to their goals. These top performers have been quick to learn and adapt to the changing demands of their field and now they are victorious!

In essence, we are all superstars and it is our job to meet and exceed the demands of life because we respond to opportunities and challenges with vigor and anticipation.

Respond Rather than React

There is magnificent power in your language and in your thoughts. It is our own duty to flush our minds with positive thoughts and actively silence any negative and disempowering thoughts that may arise.

I would like to ask of you – Pay attention to how you talk to yourself. As a daily practice, fill yourself with joy about the positive experiences of life, the true happiness that you feel in being alive in this moment. Being grateful daily in combination with an uplifting psychology will give you the ultimate winners edge.

In conclusion, I would like to say thank you for reading and together, let’s take another step forward in creating a bright and productive day along our paths of life.

If you missed out on my previous post, please check out my video here for 3 PROFOUND ideas on understanding yourself and others on a deeper level. Also, please follow my blog for more content like this!  Have a superb day.

Crazy Independence Day and Revisiting Tony Robbins

july4th-1476012_640

Welcome to my blog, I’m glad you made it!

Today is Independence Day and a beautiful Merry Monday. I am very excited that you can join me now because I want to share Part 2 of my ultimate takeaways from my experience at UPW. If you missed the first video, don’t worry – here is part 1 of the action!

Without further hesitation, let’s get into it.  In the video below, I will share 3 more spectacular ideas that Tony Robbins presented in his lectures:

2 Key Beliefs that will Empower Your Life

Its not what happens to you, it’s what you do about it that makes the difference.

The past is not an anchor. Even the present is not an anchor because we can choose at any moment to recreate ourselves.

You are not bound by the story you have told yourself. Your story is whatever you would like it to be.

Choose to learn exponentially from your past mistakes and use them as a launch pad for your future rather than a crutch.

In order for things to change, you have to change.

This quote seems so simple but it works wonders.  Take this one to heart.

When there is no change, there is no growth so we must change and adapt to get what we want.  We cannot remain idle and expect different results.

3 Steps to Lasting Change

When I learned this concept, we used neuro-associations in meditative state to mentally reinforce the idea.

To better grasp this concept it may be helpful to be in a calm, controlled, and serene environment so you can concentrate and connect with your essence.

Once you are in a relaxed and peaceful state, identify something you want to change and focus deeply on it. Keep that idea vividly in your mind and follow the steps below. Go all out!

1) Get Leverage – which means associate massive immediate pain to not changing now

Focus your mind on all the deadlines that will be missed, things that will not get done, time wasted etc. if you don’t change NOW.

Internalize the discomfort of letting everyone down.

How will it feel to let yourself down?

Meditate on the answer of that question. and proceed to the second step.

2) Assimilate massive immediate pleasure to changing NOW

This time, focus your mind on the things you will get done, the harmony of your day, and the results that will occur if you do change NOW.

How great will life be then?

Meditate on the answer of that question. and proceed to the final step.

3) Create a new empowering pattern and reinforce it until it becomes habit

If your something was to go to bed on time, start practicing this habit over and over again.

Wake up and embrace the feeling of being refreshed and celebrate! Rinse and repeat. Concentrate and focus on building and reinforcing the good habit.

3 Stellar Quotes by Tony Robbins

Life will always test you!

Be aware of challenges as a sign of life. If you have no challenges, you are probably dead. The second quote is:

Life is always happening for us rather than to us.

This mindset can change your reality every time. Decide that no matter what happens in your life, it is for a reason that supports your destiny. Finally, the last quote:

There is pain and there is suffering. They are not the same. The story we tell ourselves is suffering, the sensation felt is pain.

Suffering is when we tell a story to ourselves about why we are not good enough or why we can’t accomplish something etc.

Pain can be mental, physical, spiritual, and all of the above.

The point of this quote is that it’s natural to feel the pain but we can choose to shorten or silence the suffering.

Practicing the psychology uncovered in this post has been enlightening for me and now I have built some autonomy in execution – becoming much better at governing my mind and my emotions.

Anyhow, thank you for reading and I wish you a daring adventure in your life. Get out there and enjoy every last drop!

If you have read this far, please take at least one thing from this post and apply it to your life.

Knowledge is not power. Massive action with the aid of great knowledge is power!

I would love to hear your comments about the content in the video and the post. Have a terrific day and please follow my blog if you haven’t already!
